Penya FC Barcelona New York City Nevada Smiths in Manhattan is the official supporters club (Penya) of FC Barcelona in the United States, and a gathering place for all Culés (Barça fans) visiting or living in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New England. We welcome fans to watch all Barça games live at New York City's premier soccer pub, Nevada Smith's, located on Third Avenue between 11th and 12th Streets, in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood. Since 2006, FC Barcelona and UNICEF have formed a partnership to benefit children in the developing world. In addition to its club jersey featuring the UNICEF logo, Barça annually donates at least €1.5 million to support UNICEF's worldwide programs. Barça's pioneering humanitarian efforts are spearheaded by its foundation, Fundació Futbol Club Barcelona, which is committed to supporting global social, cultural and educational initiatives under its motto "More than a Club in the World". Among the Fundació's newest project is The Centre for Education and Sport, which opened its first operation in Senegal in October 2007.
